Who stopped giving James Dolan crazy pills?  Within the same Isola article about Dolan’s reluctance to pursue Iverson is this interesting tidbit:

Dolan’s record of taking an active role in major decisions isn’t necessarily a bad thing. After Eddy Curry showed up out of shape for training camp this year and suffered a leg injury on the first day of practice, Dolan altered Curry’s training regimen. Dolan banished Curry from practice and ordered him to reach an unspecified weight before he could rejoin his teammates … “That was all Jim,” the official said. “When you think about some of players he doesn’t like and some of the moves he wanted to make, you can’t deny that he was right on the money.”

I don’t know what’s more incredible, 1) Dolan not giving the okay on AI, 2) Dolan succeeding where others failed and being directly responsible for getting Eddy Curry back on the court, or 3) The previously black-listed-by-MSG, Frank Isola, throwing an olive branch toward Dolan and the whole Knicks franchise.
